Getting to know each other
We know meeting someone for the first time can be intimidating, and going to a new church for the first time can be nerve-racking. We want to help make your first experience at ARCC a great one!
What time?
ARCC meets every Sunday at 10:00 am
Where At?
ARCC is located at 3300 Walnut Avenue in Carmichael, California. Right beside the DMV
What kind of attire should I wear?
When we gather dress tends to be pretty casual. There is always a mixture of ties and blue jeans as well as dresses and t-shirts. Coffee, tea and treats are available before the service. This is a great time to gather and perhaps meet some new friends.
How long is an ARCC Church service?
In total, an ARCC service is about 75 minutes in length. Services begin with the ARCC Church band leading the church in music - song lyrics are projected onto the screens so you can sing along and engage with worship. After the music portion of service is complete, Pastor Jim will come out to share an encouraging and hope-filled message about Jesus. We also take communion together, and have a time of offering. You may also see a baptism, too - we really try to obey God’s leading while also having some framework to go by, so sometimes we go a little longer or shorter, depending on how the Holy Spirit is moving in our time together.
What about my kids?
We believe that kids should have a blast learning about Jesus at church every single week - and at The Riffles, we make this a priority. The other thing we make a priority is your children’s safety. Because of that, we have a detailed check-in process for our Riffles Kids program the first time that you visit. You’ll want to leave yourself an extra ten minutes to get signed in for the Riffles Kids experience. The Riffles is offered at every ARCC Church service for kids ages infant through Grade 5. Children under 4 will be dropped off before the service, while school-age kids will join their parents in the service and will be dismissed after our worship time together.
