Though each of us have our imperfections (that might be putting it mildly), we love to get together as a church family to sing to God, to learn from His Word, and to encourage each other. Sunday morning is the primary time we gather to do this.
The 9:30 am worship time will feature a lead acoustic guitar, bass, drums, keyboard and piano. “Come as you are” casual dress style is the norm. See the Music page for more details.
The 11:00 am worship features professional pianist, Irina Kolbach and Music and Worship Director Steven Randal leading the songs. They will mix traditional hymns with familiar praise songs using a traditional musical style all to help you connect with God in genuine worship.
The Sermon: The message is the same at both worship times. Pastor Rich will preach through specific biblical texts (Expository) and other times it will be topical drawing on a variety of biblical texts. Series are typically 4-6 messages in length. Length of message is 25 minutes give or take a few. Messages are uploaded to You Tube in case you miss one or want to check out our preacher before attending. If you want to view or listen to a sermon (or check out others you might have missed), make sure you check out the YouTube link to view past sermons in HD. From 10:30-11:00 WE GATHER IN RASMUSSEN HALL OR OUT IN THE COURTYARD FOR “FELLOWSHIP” (that’s church lingo for hanging out over coffee, juice and light snacks). This is a GREAT time to get to know the people of ARCC a bit more. There the crowds from both services mixes and mingles to reflect a church of all ages and stages of life.
We offer two Adult Bible study groups on Sunday morning during the 9:30 worship time. Located in the Conference Room and Fire Side Room.
Quick Tips for your First Visit
If you recently visited ARCC or are planning to, below are a few quick tips that we hope will enhance your time with us on Sunday. We’d also encourage you to stop by the Welcome Table in the entry way when you visit. There you will find a campus map and additional information about ARCC.
- Hey, WE LOVE KIDS and we want them to have a great time and learn something from the bible. We want you to know that they are in good hands. All paid staff and volunteers are screened and finger printed. Sunday morning Children’s Ministry includes: Our Nursery/Infants to 3’s room is staffed during both services (9:15-12:15). We currently offer Children ministry for children ages 4 and up (through 5th grade) only during the first service. These children start in”Kids Church” with their parents handing them off to the teaching staff in our Children’s Ministry building – Wing D. Look for the sign to the right of the worship center entrance. Kid’s Kits (full of crayons and paper to keep little hands busy) are also available for children whose parent choose to have them stay in with them in worship (just ask an usher for one).
- We celebrate The Lord’s Supper or Communion on the first Sunday of each month. If you have made Jesus Christ Lord of your life (you need not be a formal member of the church), we invite you to examine your heart and participate in this celebration of Christ’s love, mercy, and sacrifice.
- We invite everyone to participate in giving financially either by an offering during the service or via your mobile devise. Text 56316 and type in “offering” to use our online giving app. Your financial gifts go to the Lord’s work through this local congregation. Give as God leads you to give.
- Service. In the foyer there are a variety of clip boards promoting various service projects, life groups, or bible study sessions. Joining a group is a great way to make friends and gain a sense of belonging in the church.
